近幾年，“啃老族”這個詞時不時都會被拿出來討論一陣。說的是年輕一代經(jīng)濟上不能自立，還要靠家人的資助才能生活。我們今天要說的這類人，他們不只啃老，而是只要有可利用的資源他們就啃，是完全不勞而獲的“寄生人”。
A sponger is a person who lives off other people by continually taking advantage of their generosity. A sponge soaks up the water all around it. A sponger soaks up gifts, food and money without working.
Sponger（“寄生人”）指利用別人的慷慨、完全依賴別人的供給生活的人。之所以叫sponger，是因為sponge（海綿）會吸干它周圍所有的水分，而這些“寄生人”就像海綿一樣吸納各種饋贈、食物和錢財，卻不曾付出一分。
For example:
There were a bunch of spongers with cars and designer labels, eating in expensive restaurants all paid for by Daddy.
有那么一群“寄生人”，開著好車、穿著名牌、在高檔餐館就餐，而所有這一切都由他們的好爸爸買單。
