逛商場的時(shí)候會(huì)覺得掛在貨架上的衣服每一件都很好看，可是穿在身上一看，又好像不是那么回事。你知道嗎，這其實(shí)就是衣服的hanger appeal（衣架魅力）。
Hanger appeal refers to the attractiveness of a garment when viewed on a hanger (rather than being worn). A garment has hanger appeal if it looks good "on the rack" and would entice someone to look more closely, and perhaps try it on and buy it.
“衣架魅力”指一件衣服掛在衣架上（而不是穿在身上）時(shí)候展現(xiàn)出來的吸引力。一件衣服如果有“衣架魅力”，就會(huì)吸引人們走近細(xì)看，可能還會(huì)試穿，然后買回家。
For example:
Girl, these tops don't have hanger appeal. They don't look good 'til you put them on.
姑娘，這些上衣掛在那里沒覺得好看。你穿在身上以后才覺出好看來。
