“炒作”如今已經(jīng)成為公開的秘密。娛樂圈女星搏出位的招數(shù)數(shù)不勝數(shù),炒作緋聞,故意走光都是她們的拿手好戲。但“獸獸門”主角翟凌近日在采訪中再次否認(rèn)是為搏出位炒作,并表示將采取法律手段維護(hù)權(quán)利。

"I believe there is not a woman in the world who would truly like to ruin her life-long reputation for commercial exploitation," said Zhai in an interview.
23歲的“獸獸”(本名翟凌)近日否認(rèn)了香港導(dǎo)演王晶利用這起丑聞為其即將出演的影片炒作的傳言。翟凌在采訪中說:“我相信世界上沒有哪個女人會為了炒作毀掉一輩子的名聲?!?/p>
文中的commercial exploitation就是指“商業(yè)炒作”,也稱為“商業(yè)宣傳”,是指從自身利益出發(fā)對某一新聞事件進(jìn)行大規(guī)模炒作,加大渲染力度,以達(dá)到廣告宣傳或正常新聞宣傳難以達(dá)到的效果。
Exploitation在這里指“宣傳,廣告推銷”,還有“開發(fā)、利用”的意思,例如exploitation of virgin land(墾荒),exploitation of talent resource(人力資源開發(fā)利用)等。
此次流傳出的sex video(不雅視頻)不禁讓人們想起之前“艷照門”流傳出的sex picture(艷照)。Car model(車模)“獸獸”的agency company(經(jīng)紀(jì)公司)已聯(lián)系律師處理此事。
為了引起公眾對某人或某事關(guān)注而進(jìn)行的“炒作”還可以用publicity stunt,例如美國的balloon boy事件中,相關(guān)的媒體報道就使用了publicity stunt(宣傳秀)這一短語:
People inclined to believe that Thursday’s balloon drama was a publicity stunt will want to see this raw video of Richard Heene explaining his “experiment” to reporters on Thursday night.
