Jim Carrey 金?凱瑞
James Eugene Carrey (born January 17, 1962) is a Canadian actor and comedian. He is a rubber-faced comedian in the Jerry Lewis mold. His work on the sketch comedy show In Living Color (1990-94) made him a cult comedy figure; his starring role in the surprise hit Ace Ventura, Pet Detective (1994) made him a star. Carrey's crowd-pleasing style mixed juvenile slapstick with manic improvisation; by the late 1990's he became one of Hollywood's most popular (and best-paid) stars. Later films included Dumb and Dumber (1994), The Cable Guy (1996, with Matthew Broderick), and The Truman Show (1998, with Ed Harris). He played comedian Andy Kaufman in the 1999 movie Man In the Moon, and in 2000 wore green makeup for a film based on the Dr. Seuss classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Although known primarily for his hit comedies such as Bruce Almighty (2003, co-starring Morgan Freeman), Carrey has also turned in dramatic performances. His other films include The Majestic (2001), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004, with Kate Winslet) and A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004, based on the books by Lemony Snicket).
Carrey was married to actress Lauren Holly from 1996 to 1997, had a much-publicized 2000 romance with Renee Zellweger and -- according to the gossip sheets -- began dating Jenny McCarthy in 2005.
我觀之我見
《美麗心靈的永恒陽光 Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind》這個片名來自于英國18世紀(jì)詩人亞歷山大?蒲柏（Alexander Pope，1688-1744）的長詩《艾洛伊斯致亞伯拉德》（Eloisa to Abelard）。蒲柏的這首詩是根據(jù)12世紀(jì)法國哲學(xué)家亞伯拉德與女修道院長艾洛伊斯的愛情悲劇創(chuàng)作的。在這個古老的故事中，年近四十的亞伯拉德愛上了自己年輕的學(xué)生艾洛伊斯，但是為了自己的聲名只能和她秘密結(jié)婚，艾洛伊斯的叔叔對此怒不可遏，派人閹割了亞伯拉德。沉重的打擊下，亞伯拉德和艾洛伊斯被迫分手，雙雙遁入修道院。然而，他們彼此卻難以忘懷，在十余年后留下了七封充滿回憶和激情的通信。《艾洛伊斯致亞伯拉德》（Eloisa to Abelard）是以女性的口吻寫成的，敘述艾洛伊斯對亞伯拉德的愛以及對愛情的看法，片名來自這一段：

（維斯塔是羅馬神話中的女灶神，不滅的火焰代表她的存在。維斯塔處女是照顧神火的女祭司，是一種全職的神職人員，有很高的榮譽(yù)和特權(quán)。她們從貴族階層中被選出來，必須保持貞潔30年，所以才被叫做維斯塔處女。如果她們違反了這一規(guī)定，將會被活埋。這個制度在公元前391年被廢止。）
這一段話其實(shí)是艾洛伊斯對愛情發(fā)的牢騷，因?yàn)樽鳛橐粋€修女，她必須無條件的將愛全部獻(xiàn)給上帝，但是她如此愛亞伯拉德以致在十幾年后仍不能忘情，但現(xiàn)實(shí)和世俗規(guī)范的打擊又不允許她保有這段愛情，所以她才感慨不如“遺忘了世人，也被世人遺忘”的維斯塔處女。
影片中接受過記憶清除手術(shù)的兩個人在海灘上再次相遇、再次陷入愛情，本來一切看起來會是個美好的開始，但是Lacuna 公司的護(hù)士Mary發(fā)現(xiàn)自己曾被做過記憶清除手術(shù)后，一怒之下將所有客戶的資料都寄還給了他們。于是我們聽到了Joel 和Clementine 的自述，他們對彼此痛苦而又緊張的關(guān)系的無奈。Clementine 感到以前的不快可能無法避免，想要離開剛剛重新認(rèn)識的Joel，對他說他們兩人可能是無法成功的。Joel 聳聳肩膀，只說了一聲“OK”，那語調(diào)好像是他接受這種事實(shí)，但是仍然希望去經(jīng)歷它。Clementine 也有同樣的感受，于是他們兩個一起尷尬的笑了，同時心中還有一種如釋重負(fù)的解脫，感到他們的關(guān)系可能會有轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)。電影就到這里結(jié)束了。
艾洛伊斯和亞伯拉德之間是一段矛盾的愛情，電影里描述的是一種感情的困境。因?yàn)樵诂F(xiàn)實(shí)生活中根本不存在理想的愛，在相處的過程中總是會有沖突和摩擦發(fā)生。但是又能怎么樣呢？就像艾洛伊斯無法不對亞伯拉德動情一樣，Joel 也無法聽任Clementine離開。Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind 描述的就是人生中這種荒謬的困境。（基于阮一峰《美麗心靈的永恒陽光》）
