上下班高峰擠過地鐵的人都體會過公共交通的擁擠，但是就有那么一些男乘客，坐在座位上非要張開雙腿，一個(gè)人占兩個(gè)位，美國網(wǎng)民近期將這種行為稱為“manspreading（大爺式占座）”。
Manspreading is the act of a man sitting with his knees spread widely apart, particularly when this crowds people next to him or prevents someone from taking an adjacent seat.
“大爺式占座”指男性將雙腿張開的坐姿，特別指他們用這種坐姿將身邊擁擠的人群擠開，或阻止別人坐他們旁邊的座位。
例句：
Any woman travelling by public transport will be aware of manspreading — where a male passenger sits with his legs splayed out, totally oblivious to the woman next to him who’s forced to double cross her legs for lack of space.
乘坐公共交通工具的女性都知道什么叫“大爺式占座”——男性乘客完全不顧旁邊的女性，在座位上張開雙腿，把旁邊的女性擠得只好翹起一條腿。
