眼睛一直盯著電腦屏幕，一會(huì)兒點(diǎn)下鼠標(biāo)，一會(huì)兒手指在鍵盤上飛速敲擊，這很明顯是一個(gè)忙碌工作的場(chǎng)景。可如果你走近一看，可能這個(gè)人其實(shí)在跟朋友聊天。這種情況我們就叫“裝忙”。
Fauxductivity, faux + productivity, means pretending to work hard, or busyness that consists of trivial or unproductive activities.
Fauxductivity，即faux（假的）和productivity（生產(chǎn)力），指假裝很努力工作或很忙碌的樣子，其實(shí)都是在做一些微不足道或沒什么成效的事情。我們稱為“裝忙”。

坐在桌邊整天敲擊著鍵盤，看上去做了很多工作的樣子。當(dāng)然，如果敲擊鍵盤是在跟朋友聊天的話自然就不是在工作了，但別人并不知道。這就是“裝忙”的一種。

I took a few lessons from Jim in fauxductivity. Now every time I leave my cube I carry important looking papers.
