騷擾電話，估計有手機(jī)的人都接到過吧？不是贈送保險，就是推銷紅酒。反正都挺惹人厭的?？墒悄阒绬幔窟@種煩人的促銷電話在英語里竟然叫courtesy call！簡直是反諷到了極致啊。
Courtesy call is a sugarcoated term used by telemarketers which really means sales call. This is one of the most deceitful and misleading phrases ever since there is nothing courteous about it.
Courtesy call（字面意思：禮節(jié)性電話）是被電話促銷員巧妙偽裝了的一個詞，其實就指“促銷電話”。這個詞算是史上最具欺騙性和誤導(dǎo)性的詞了，因為“促銷電話”本身沒有一點禮節(jié)可言。
For example:
Hello. This is a courtesy call from Talk America which is inviting you to switch to our service.
你好。這里是來自Talk America的銷售電話，我們想邀請您改用我們的服務(wù)。
