今年是中華人民共和國建國60周年,各地大力宣揚(yáng)革命勝地的“紅色旅游”浪潮不斷高漲??墒悄阒绬?,旅游市場(chǎng)上除了“紅色旅游”之外,其實(shí)還有“黑色旅游”。今天,我們就來說說這個(gè)dark tourism(黑色旅游)。
Dark tourism (also black tourism or grief tourism) is tourism involving travel to sites associated with death and suffering.
黑色旅游(dark tourism,也稱為black tourism或grief tourism)指的是與死亡和苦難事件相關(guān)的旅游項(xiàng)目。
This includes castles and battlefields such as Culloden, Scotland, Chernobyl in ex USSR; sites of disaster, either natural or man made such as Ground Zero in New York; prisons now open to the public such as Beaumaris Prison in Anglesey, Wales; and purpose built centers such as the London Dungeon.
這一類旅游項(xiàng)目包括古城堡和戰(zhàn)場(chǎng),如蘇格蘭克洛登古戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)和前蘇聯(lián)的切爾諾貝利(1986年4月26日,切爾諾貝利核反應(yīng)堆爆炸);自然或人為災(zāi)難的發(fā)生地,比如紐約的世貿(mào)雙子大廈廢墟;現(xiàn)在向公眾開放的監(jiān)獄,比如威爾士安格西島的比尤馬里斯監(jiān)獄;以及為某種目的而建的集中場(chǎng)所,比如倫敦地牢。
