Perfection fatigue refers to mental exhaustion and stress caused by constantly trying to present oneself as perfect, or by constantly seeing images of perfection.
Perfection fatigue(完美疲勞癥)指由于不斷追求自我完美表現(xiàn)或者因?yàn)椴粩嗫吹酵昝赖膱D像而引發(fā)的精神倦怠或壓力。
“I think we’re collectively rebounding from perfection fatigue,” said Pamela Grossman, the director of visual trends at Getty Images. “Everyone knows what Photoshop is now. Everyone’s seen the wizard behind the curtain in advertising, in Hollywood. We know how the machine works.
