Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey, 49, and his wife, makeup artist Jillian Fink, have announced they are splitting after 15 years of marriage, which they confirmed in an exclusive statement to People.

"It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage," the statement reads. "Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family's privacy at this very sensitive time."
