據(jù)報(bào)道，日本福島縣又發(fā)現(xiàn)87頭吃了遭核輻射污染飼料的牛，這些牛已經(jīng)被屠宰，牛肉可能已經(jīng)流入市面。這加劇了民眾對(duì)輻射牛肉的擔(dān)心。據(jù)估計(jì)，截至目前為止，日本的“輻射?！币堰_(dá)143頭。

Japan's second-biggest retailer said on Sunday it had sold beef from cattle that ate nuclear-contaminated feed, the latest in a series of health scares from radiation leaking from a quake-crippled nuclear power plant.
日本第二大零售商周日稱(chēng)其已售出部分吃了遭核輻射污染飼料的牛肉，這是地震導(dǎo)致的核電站泄漏事故引發(fā)的又一健康威脅。
上文報(bào)道中的nuclear-contaminated feed即“遭核輻射污染的飼料”，食用了這種飼料的牛被稱(chēng)為nuclear-contaminated cattle（“輻射牛”），“輻射?！北辉讱⒛玫绞忻嫔铣鍪鄣妮椛渑Ｈ饧?strong>nuclear-tainted beef。contaminated和tainted意思都是“受污染的”。例如：melamine-contaminated milk powder就是“受三聚氰胺污染的奶粉”。
負(fù)責(zé)協(xié)調(diào)nuclear cleanup（核清理）的日本官員稱(chēng)日本將可能停止beef shipments（牛肉運(yùn)輸）。“輻射牛肉”所含的輻射量已遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超過(guò)safety standards（安全標(biāo)準(zhǔn)）所規(guī)定的水平。
