The unusual gesture appeared in an Instagram video posted by the White House on social media. It was quickly dubbed the “latte salute.”
這一不尋常的舉動(dòng)視頻被發(fā)布在白宮的Instagram賬號(hào)上，并很快被網(wǎng)友戲稱(chēng)的“拿鐵敬禮”。
The video drew ridicule from some Instagram users, who saw the unorthodox salute as “un-presidential.”
這一視頻引來(lái)一些Instagram用戶(hù)的嘲諷，認(rèn)為這種不正規(guī)的敬禮方式“有失總統(tǒng)風(fēng)范”。
Others saw unnecessary nitpicking in the criticism.“People are dying from disease, abuse or even hunger,” another user commented on the video. “Priorities.”

However one feels about today’s salute, it’s unlikely any coffee was at play. President Obama prefers hot tea.
對(duì)于敬禮事件，還有網(wǎng)友表示不同看法。他認(rèn)為奧巴馬手里拿的不是咖啡，奧巴馬總統(tǒng)更喜歡喝熱茶。
