懶人們一定對(duì)這個(gè)概念很熟悉——沙發(fā)距離，就是不離開沙發(fā)就能夠到的距離，現(xiàn)在也泛指輕松走走就能到的距離，英文表達(dá)是couching distance。
Couching distance originally refers to the distance one can reach without leaving the couch or sofa. But now it can also refer to distance that literally requires you to leave the couch but is near enough anyway.
“沙發(fā)距離”最初指無需離開沙發(fā)就能夠到的距離。不過現(xiàn)在也可以指更遠(yuǎn)一些的需要離開沙發(fā)才能到達(dá)、但是也相當(dāng)近的距離。
Example:
That job is too far; it's not within couching distance.
那份工作的辦公地點(diǎn)離家太遠(yuǎn)了，不在“沙發(fā)距離”之內(nèi)。
I can't reach the remote control because it's not in couching distance.
我夠不到遙控，因?yàn)樗辉凇吧嘲l(fā)距離”之內(nèi)。
