凡事都有門檻，萬(wàn)事開頭難，對(duì)于那些剛邁入成人門檻的年輕人來(lái)說(shuō)，人生中處處是“門檻”，因而他們也被稱為“門檻者”—— thresholder。
Thresholder refers to a young person on the threshold of adulthood, especially one who is anxious or depressed about leaving home or taking on adult responsibilities.
“門檻者”指的是剛跨入成人門檻的年輕人，尤其是那些為離家或開始承擔(dān)成人義務(wù)而感到焦慮或抑郁的人群。
Thresholders are literally young adults ages 18-24, who appear as a hybrid, neither teenager nor grown-up, yet both. It's a time of pronounced turmoil and anxiety.
這些在18歲到24歲之間的年輕人是青少年和成年人的混合體，他們既不是青少年，也非完全的成年人，但又具有這兩者的特質(zhì)。這是內(nèi)心極度動(dòng)蕩和焦慮的一個(gè)時(shí)期。
