《中共中央關(guān)于全面推進(jìn)依法治國(guó)若干重大問(wèn)題的決定》日前發(fā)布，《決定》擬建立憲法宣誓制度，凡經(jīng)人大及其常委會(huì)選舉或者決定任命的國(guó)家工作人員正式就職時(shí)公開向憲法宣誓。
China has fixed December 4 as national Constitution Day. Chinese officials must pledge allegiance to the Constitution in public before they take office.
我國(guó)日前將12月4日確立為憲法日，國(guó)家工作人員正式就職時(shí)公開向憲法宣誓。
憲法日即Constitution Day，憲法宣誓即pledge allegiance to the Constitution，或take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution。該項(xiàng)制度的建立將有助于確立憲法的權(quán)威性（bolster the authority of the Constitution），鼓勵(lì)官員遵守和保護(hù)憲法（encourage officials to abide by and protect the Constitution）,增強(qiáng)公民的憲法意識(shí)（inspire the public to raise their Constitutional awareness）。
