近幾年,中國(guó)游客國(guó)外掃貨的新聞不斷見(jiàn)諸報(bào)端,原來(lái)還只是在歐美國(guó)家買奢侈品,后來(lái)發(fā)展到在日本買馬桶圈和電飯煲,去韓國(guó)買護(hù)膚品。于是,中國(guó)消費(fèi)者的各種昵稱也就出現(xiàn)了。比如,2011年,英國(guó)媒體就用“北京鎊”來(lái)指代具有強(qiáng)大購(gòu)買力的中國(guó)消費(fèi)者。2012年,國(guó)內(nèi)網(wǎng)友還自創(chuàng)了一個(gè)詞Chinsumer來(lái)指代出國(guó)掃貨的中國(guó)消費(fèi)者。到了這兩年,國(guó)外媒體干脆把中國(guó)游客稱為“行走的錢包”了??梢?jiàn),大家出國(guó)都沒(méi)少買啊!
下面,我們就分別解釋一下這三個(gè)昵稱。
北京鎊 Peking Pound
The big bucks Chinese spend overseas every year reaches staggering numbers. Last year reportedly 56% of Chinese purchases of luxury goods occur abroad, totaling 13 billion USD. British Media coined a new word—“Peking Pound” for Chinese huge purchasing power.
中國(guó)人每年在國(guó)外甩出去的大票子已經(jīng)達(dá)到了一個(gè)驚人的數(shù)目。據(jù)稱,去年中國(guó)人的奢侈品消費(fèi)有56%都發(fā)生在國(guó)外,總價(jià)值達(dá)130億美元。英國(guó)媒體造了個(gè)詞“北京鎊”來(lái)指代中國(guó)人強(qiáng)大的購(gòu)買力。

中國(guó)購(gòu)物狂 Chinsumer
Chinsumer, a blend of Chinese and consumer, refers to generous Chinese consumers who spend a lot on brand name products when travelling abroad.
Chinsumer,就是Chinese(中國(guó)人)與consumer(消費(fèi)者)的合成詞,可以翻譯為“中國(guó)購(gòu)物狂”,指出國(guó)旅游時(shí)出手大方,購(gòu)置各類名牌商品的中國(guó)消費(fèi)者。
Due to strong purchasing power, products of luxury brands like Burberry, LV and Gucci bought by Chinese consumers account for one third of the total sales volume in the industry.
由于中國(guó)顧客消費(fèi)能力很強(qiáng),中國(guó)人所消費(fèi)的Burberry、LV、Gucci等大牌奢侈品占整個(gè)奢侈品行業(yè)銷售額的三分之一。
According to analysis, Chinese has become the biggest buyer in British luxury market, taking the place of Russian and Arabian.
有分析指出,中國(guó)人已經(jīng)取代俄羅斯人和阿拉伯人,成為英國(guó)奢侈品消費(fèi)市場(chǎng)的最大買家。

行走的錢包 Walking wallets
Shopping is not the only purpose that Chinese people travel abroad, but it is reality that outbound travelers are spending huge to buy products from daily necessities to luxury items.
購(gòu)物不是中國(guó)人去國(guó)外旅游的主要目的,但事實(shí)上,中國(guó)的出境游客的確花很多錢在國(guó)外購(gòu)買日用品和奢侈品。
According to Chinese International Travel Monitor 2016, the per capita spending of Chinese outbound travelers hit 22,592 yuan ($3,370) in 2015. The number of outbound travelers is expected to reach 200 million in 2020, up from about 100 million in 2014, said the China National Tourism Administration.
據(jù)中國(guó)國(guó)際旅游監(jiān)測(cè)2016年的數(shù)據(jù)顯示,2015年,中國(guó)出境游客人均消費(fèi)額達(dá)到22592元。國(guó)家旅游局表示,到2020年,中國(guó)出境游客數(shù)量將從2014年的1億增加到2億。
Both Japan and South Korea see Chinese tourists as a major powerhouse to drive up their economies. They are described by Western media as "walking wallets".
日本和韓國(guó)都將中國(guó)游客視為經(jīng)濟(jì)增長(zhǎng)的主要?jiǎng)恿ΑN鞣矫襟w則把中國(guó)游客描述為“行走的錢包”。
