我們都知道英國公投決定要脫離歐盟以后，很多英國人都后悔了。他們在網(wǎng)上發(fā)起請愿簽名，要求重新舉行一次公投。

在一旁圍觀的我們，也是不知道該如何評論了。只能說一句，這很英國人。

最近，這句話在社交網(wǎng)站上也傳開了。但凡看到有人做了某件事后立馬后悔，旁邊的人就會嘲弄地說：“你這簡直就是英國人！”

Behaving British refers to the act of doing something you know you'll regret immediately after.
Behaving British指明知會后悔但依然做某件事的行為。

This term is a mock on Britons who voted for leave and took to the internet immediately after the referendum result was out, asking for a second referendum.
這個表達(dá)是在嘲弄那些在公投里投了脫歐票，但是在結(jié)果出爐以后立馬在網(wǎng)上請愿要求重新舉行公投的人。

Many Britons who voted "leave" in the refendum expressed their regrets on social networking sites. Some said they didn’t think their votes would matter too much because they thought they were just going to remain.
很多在公投中投了脫歐票的英國人都在社交網(wǎng)絡(luò)上表示很后悔。有人說完全沒想到自己投的票真的會管用，因為他們覺得留歐派會贏。

在現(xiàn)實生活中，我們就可以這樣造句：

Stop behaving British! You've made the same mistake three times!
不要這么英國人了！這相同的錯誤你已經(jīng)犯了三次了！

He decided to quit his job in the morning and regreted it in the afternoon. He is trully behaving British.
他早上決定辭職，下午就后悔了。簡直就是英國人。
