Amid a widening wealth gap between rich and poor, a new survey has found that 96 percent of the public said they feel resentful toward the rich.
面對(duì)不斷加大的貧富差距，最新相關(guān)調(diào)查顯示，有96%的受訪者承認(rèn)自己有仇富心理。
文中的wealth gap between rich and poor就是指“貧富差距”，這已成為社會(huì)中的hot-button issue（敏感問題）。Wealth gap的不斷擴(kuò)大也激起了人們的resentment against the rich（仇富心理）。此次調(diào)查涵蓋了十個(gè)不同的social groups（社會(huì)群體），包括public servants（公務(wù)員）以及self-employed（自由職業(yè)者）在內(nèi)。
不同代際的人們會(huì)產(chǎn)生generation gap（代溝），不同性別的人群會(huì)產(chǎn)生gender gap（性別差異），言行不一則會(huì)導(dǎo)致credibility gap（信任差距，缺乏可信性）。金融危機(jī)爆發(fā)后，各國(guó)央行更加關(guān)注foreign exchange gap（外匯缺口）和savings gap（儲(chǔ)蓄缺口）。
