很多現(xiàn)代人都喜歡在網(wǎng)上曬自己的個(gè)人生活，但是也有例外——就是那些只看不評(píng)論、不分享個(gè)人圖片和信息，總是默默飄過(guò)的“潛水一族”，英文表達(dá)稱之為web shy（網(wǎng)絡(luò)羞澀）。
Web shy refers to unwillingness to expose one's thoughts, feelings or identity on the web, knowing that doing so means freaknobs from Baton Rouge to Bangladesh will know everything about you.
“網(wǎng)絡(luò)羞澀”指的是不愿在網(wǎng)上透露個(gè)人的想法、感受或身份，知道這樣做會(huì)讓世界各地形形色色的人洞悉自己的一切。
Example:
A: "Jeez, Paul--you need to get with it! You should create your own web site, post your picture, do some blogging about your beliefs, and generally trumpet yourself and your innermost thoughts via that there Internet."
B: "You kidding me? I am way too web shy for any of that!"
甲：“天啊，保羅，你得行動(dòng)起來(lái)啦！你應(yīng)該創(chuàng)建自己的個(gè)人網(wǎng)頁(yè)、上傳你的照片、寫寫博客、分享觀點(diǎn)，通過(guò)網(wǎng)絡(luò)宣傳一下自己和內(nèi)心深處的想法?！?/p>
乙：“開什么玩笑。我可是十足的‘網(wǎng)絡(luò)羞澀族’！”
