Because no one is perfect, you have to accept people, warts and all.
My comments:
Warts are the small infectious hard things that are painful and grow on the skin. By extension, warts represent small imperfections of a person.
Metaphorically, therefore, when we say we have to accept people, warts and all, we mean to accept them as a whole, including their small imperfections, either physically or in manners, character, and other aspects.
Because, let’s face it, nobody’s perfect, including ourselves.
