如果眼前突然出現(xiàn)一幢豪宅，你會用什么詞語來形容它？奢華、品位、顯貴？還是就一個字，大？告訴你吧，英語里對豪宅的稱呼就是以“大”開頭的，叫big hair house。
A big hair house is a house that has a garish style and that is overly large compared to its lot size and to the surrounding houses.
Big hair house指建筑風(fēng)格奢華奪目，與所在地段和周邊房屋相比規(guī)模超大的房子，（即我們常說的“豪宅”）。
For example:
Depending on your income and level of anxiety, these private enclaves may contain golf courses, health clubs and equestrian centers, surrounded by big hair houses of indecipherable pedigree and protected round the clock by cameras and private police.
依據(jù)你收入以及需求的不同，這些私人宅邸可以包括高爾夫球場、保健俱樂部和騎馬場等設(shè)施，周圍都是不知身屬誰家的豪宅，24小時有攝像頭和私人警衛(wèi)保護。
Big hair refers to a bouffant hairstyle, especially one in which long hair has been sprayed, permed, or teased to make it stand away from the head and give it volume. It was once seen as an emblem of rich, powerful, or glamorous women.
Big hair最初指的是一種向外蓬松脹起的發(fā)型，尤指長發(fā)燙過并噴了發(fā)膠以后將其梳理定型為從發(fā)根直立并帶卷的形狀,（也就是流行一時的“爆炸頭”）。這種發(fā)型曾經(jīng)一度是富有、權(quán)貴或迷人女性的象征。
