針對(duì)社會(huì)關(guān)注的北大將對(duì)“思想偏激”等十類學(xué)生進(jìn)行學(xué)業(yè)會(huì)商，北京大學(xué)學(xué)工部副部長(zhǎng)査晶通過(guò)北大網(wǎng)站首度回應(yīng)外界對(duì)學(xué)業(yè)會(huì)商制度的質(zhì)疑：會(huì)商不是管制學(xué)生，也不是處罰學(xué)生，并以學(xué)業(yè)困難學(xué)生為主要會(huì)商對(duì)象。

Zha explained that consultations will focus on students who frequently fail exams or encounter difficulties in their studies, and provided several examples of students successfully overcoming their problems after receiving help through the college program, including one who asked to be enrolled.
查（晶）解釋道，會(huì)商的主要對(duì)象是那些考試多次掛科或在學(xué)業(yè)中遇到困難的學(xué)生，還舉出幾個(gè)學(xué)生在接受該項(xiàng)目幫助后順利克服困難的例子，其中包括主動(dòng)要求參與會(huì)商的一名學(xué)生。
在上面的報(bào)道中，consultation就是“會(huì)商”，也可以表示醫(yī)院組織的“會(huì)診”。北大即將推行的“學(xué)業(yè)會(huì)商制度”就是consultation program on students’ academic performance，簡(jiǎn)稱consultation program。除學(xué)業(yè)困難學(xué)生外，會(huì)商針對(duì)的學(xué)生還包括students with radical thoughts（思想偏激）、psychological fragility（心理脆弱）、poverty（經(jīng)濟(jì)貧困）、 registration changes（學(xué)籍異動(dòng)）、Internet addiction（網(wǎng)絡(luò)成癮）、job difficulties（就業(yè)困難）、serious illnesses（罹患重大疾?。┮约?strong>discipline violations（受到違紀(jì)處分）等。
現(xiàn)在社會(huì)正經(jīng)歷著快速變革時(shí)期，大學(xué)生還未踏出校門就已面臨著不少壓力，確實(shí)有必要提供一些psychological counselling（心理咨詢）來(lái)改善大學(xué)生的心理現(xiàn)狀。
