顯然，報道中的“to move in (with)”就是我們漢語中常說的“與……同居”?！巴印钡闹髡Z如果是“兩個人”，介詞“with”則可省略?？聪旅嬉粋€例句：He fell in love with Jane and eventually moved in with her.（他愛上簡了并已和她同居。）
上面這句也可表達為：Jane and Jack fell in love and eventually moved in. 此外，“同居”也可用“cohabit”來表達，如：Jane and Jack fell in love and eventually cohabited.
