這些buzzwords（流行語）你都get了么？

不會用英語飚流行語的寶寶不是好寶寶喲~

1 都是套路！

一天雙語君問小伙伴：

雙語君：誒誒，你知道網(wǎng)上的“套路”是啥意思不？

小伙伴：（一本正經(jīng)臉）“套路”在新華詞典上的解釋是： 1). 編成套的武術動作；2). 程式化的技巧和方法。

雙語君：……都是套路！

網(wǎng)絡buzzword（熱詞）“套路”一般可譯為：

1 games / tricks
對某人“?；ㄕ小保涯橙私o“玩兒了”

比如： play games with somebody

play tricks on somebody

2 trap/setup
trap和setup都作為名詞，表示“陷阱”，即“套路”“。

比如： Don't buy his words. You will fall into his trap.
別信他的話，都是套路。

流行例句：

? 多一點真誠，少一點套路。
Show more sincerity, play less tricks/setups.

? 套路玩得深，誰把誰當真。
You are so good at playing tricks; let's play together.

? 我走過最遠的路，就是你的套路。

2 撩妹？撩漢？不娶何撩！

2016年，“太后”不再只是皇帝的媽媽。網(wǎng)友口中的“太后”是韓劇《太陽的后裔》（Descendants of the Sun）。

wuli宋仲基歐巴憑借劇中花式“撩妹”的技能，成為了不少人心目中的“老公”。

所以“撩妹”到底咋說，可以有以下幾種“套路”：

1 flirt with
與...調(diào)情，挑逗...

不娶何撩！
Stop flirting with me, if you have no intention to marry me.

Flirt還可做名詞，指“調(diào)情高手”，如：

She is a real flirt.
她是一個情場高手。

2 hit on sb
挑逗、調(diào)情、搭訕

所以，撩妹是hit on a girl，撩漢子就是hit on a guy。

How do you guys deal with it when other guys hit on your girl? I am usually at a loss of what to do when this occurs at parties.
你們碰到有人撩自己的女票都怎么辦？我在派對上遇到這種事總是不知道該咋辦。

3?pick up
Pick up有很多種含義，在男女搞對象的語境下，指成功勾搭上一個異性。

這些最佳搭訕語，幫你把到夢中男神/女神。

pick-up lines就是搭訕語。

4?chat up
搭訕

Song Joong Ki was trying to chat me up last night.
宋仲基昨晚上找我搭訕來著。

Chat-up lines也是搭訕語。

4 make a pass at sb
調(diào)情

美國女作家帕克（Dorothy Parker）有句名言：

Men seldom make passes at girls who wear glasses.
男人很少和戴眼鏡的女人調(diào)情。

3 友誼的小船

漫畫師喃東尼創(chuàng)作了“友誼的小船說翻就翻”（"friend ship" sinks）系列漫畫，走紅社交媒體。

Friend ship友誼一詞本來就是：friend（朋友的）ship（船），也有網(wǎng)友機智地音譯為“翻的ship”。

后來延伸出了各種“翻船體”：

?愛情版：友誼的小船說翻就翻，愛情的巨輪說沉就沉。
The ship of friendship sinks easily, so does the ship of love.

?親情版：友誼的小船說翻就翻，親情的火苗說滅就滅。
The ship of friendship sinks easily, while the flame of family love goes out swiftly.

4 一言不合就……
Whenever you disagree with each other...
The slightest disagreement leads to...

有沒有被這個表達刷屏？現(xiàn)在的年輕人，一言不合就刷“一言不合”……

流行例句：

?一言不合就斗舞。
Whenever you disagree with each other, you solve it by dancing.

?一言不合就自拍。

5 沒想到你是這樣的……
It didn't occur to me that you are such a...

?原來你是這樣的段子手……
So actually you are a punster.

段子手
punster, people who are good at making jokes,especially on social media.

6 你咋不上天呢！

直譯：Why don't you fly up to the sky!
意譯：Who do you think you are?!

當你聽到一些特無語、或者愛裝x的話，口語中你可以這么回答：

?Amazing idea. (Who do you think you are?!)
?That's damn right. (Who do you think you are?!)
?Interesting / Of course you do. (Who do you think you are?!)

7 我好方

據(jù)說最早是調(diào)侃某些地方口音會把“慌（huang）”讀成“方（fang）”。

然后隨著表情包的崛起，“我好方”流行起來。 尤其是還珠格格系列的表情包……

這個用英語表達很容易，表達焦急、緊張的詞都能用……比如，

I'm so worried / anxious / nervous about...

I am as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.
我“方”得像熱鍋上的螞蟻。

?我開始方了
I'm starting to worry...

8 寶寶心里苦但寶寶不說
My heart hurts but I am not going to let you know.

最早流行起來的“嚇死寶寶了!”（直譯：Baby is freaked out!），有一說是源自“跑男”里的王寶強。

"嚇死寶寶了"還能咋說：

?I am freaked out!
?You scared me!
?I am frightened out of my wits!
?You did give me a good scare!

現(xiàn)在寶寶早已成為老少咸宜的自稱……

?我還是個寶寶~
I am still an innocent baby.
