A group of mothers created a Facebook group to share paleo lunchbox recipes for their kids to take to school, and ask advice on explaining to children why they can't eat things like bread anymore. The public group, titled 'Paleo lunchbox ideas' has almost 7,000 members from all around the world.

The paleolithic diet (also called the paleo diet, caveman diet or stone-age diet) is based mainly on foods presumed to be available to paleolithic humans. It includes vegetables, fruits, nuts, roots, meat, and organ meats while excluding foods such as dairy products, grains, sugar, legumes, processed oils, salt, and alcohol or coffee.
