一項(xiàng)調(diào)查顯示,英國很多父母在孩子成年或離家后,每天做飯時(shí)還是會(huì)做孩子那份兒,以免孩子突然回家時(shí)沒有飯吃。這種行為被指是造成大量食物浪費(fèi)的重要原因,而這些父母則被稱為hotel parents,因?yàn)樗麄兊暮⒆悠鋵?shí)只是把家當(dāng)旅館而已。
Parents who continue to cook for children who have grown up or left home have been blamed for fuelling Britain's food waste crisis.
孩子成年或離家后,父母在做飯時(shí)仍然做孩子的那份兒,這一行為被指是引發(fā)英國食物浪費(fèi)危機(jī)的原因。
Dubbed ‘hotel parents’, mothers and fathers, whose children treat their home ‘like a hotel’ and seldom eat at home, routinely cook dinner for them only for it to end up in the bin.
這些父母被稱為“賓館父母”,因?yàn)樗麄兊暮⒆又皇前鸭耶?dāng)作“賓館”而且很少在家吃飯,而他們卻依然習(xí)慣性的給孩子做飯,結(jié)果這些飯最終都進(jìn)了垃圾桶。
