買手機(jī)的時候說存儲空間有4G，可買回家一看發(fā)現(xiàn)剩余空間不到1G了，查來查去才知道原來是預(yù)裝軟件太多，占去了大部分的存儲空間。更可氣的是，這些預(yù)裝軟件你幾百年都可能用不到。
Bloatware refers to pre-installed software on your phone that provides more bells and whistles than you'd ever need in your wildest dreams, but irritatingly occupies so much space that there's no room for the things that you actually want to use!
Bloatware（膨脹軟件）指手機(jī)中預(yù)裝的那些你根本用不到的花哨功能軟件，讓人氣憤的是，這些軟件占去了很多的存儲空間，從而導(dǎo)致手機(jī)中沒有空間安裝你真正想用的軟件！
Though the term bloatware, sometimes also described as fatware, is usually used in the context of mobile phones, it can in fact be used in relation to any hand-held device or computer. Both terms are a pejorative way of describing software that 'wastes' memory or disk space. This wastefulness can occur in various ways.
膨脹軟件有時也被稱作fatware（肥胖軟件），雖然這一類軟件通常用于手機(jī)領(lǐng)域，但其實(shí)任何掌中設(shè)備或電腦都有可能涉及到這個問題。不論bloatware還是fatware都是對那些浪費(fèi)存儲空間軟件的貶義稱呼，而它們浪費(fèi)空間的方式也多種多樣。
The term bloatware was coined by analogy with software, hardware etc and figurative use of the verb bloat which literally means 'to cause to swell with liquid or gas'.(Source: macmillandictionary.com)
Bloatware這個詞是比照著software（軟件）和hardware（硬件）等詞加上表示“膨脹”的動詞bloat的比喻用法結(jié)合而成的。
