My comments:
In other words, let’s go and drink a ton, having a good time.
Literally, to drink one’s body weight is to drink an amount that equals one’s body weight. If you weigh 60 kilograms, for instance, you’re going to drink that much.
Usually they’re talking about beer, but occasionally alcohol or other beverages as well.
Just talking – It’s impossible to drink that much of course.
By exaggeration, people are just saying that they look forward to a lot of drinks (plus the food and chat) and have a good time.
