最近總能看到不同機(jī)構(gòu)發(fā)布的“海外游學(xué)”廣告，多半都是利用學(xué)生寒暑假的時(shí)間組團(tuán)帶學(xué)生到英美等國(guó)的名校走一圈，感受名校的氛圍，也讓學(xué)生對(duì)留學(xué)生活有個(gè)初步體驗(yàn)。這樣的經(jīng)歷我們管它叫“微留學(xué)”。
Short-term overseas study tours, or micro study tours, usually lasts for two to three weeks, where groups of students have a taste of studying abroad by going to world-renowned universities, living in a student dorm or host family and attending courses that are pertinent to that university.
微留學(xué)（short-term overseas study tours或 micro study tours），是指學(xué)生歷時(shí)二到三周，到海外參加“世界名校游”，住在學(xué)生宿舍或寄宿家庭，體驗(yàn)國(guó)外學(xué)校的特色課程。
This kind of study tour can help potential overseas students build a fairly good visa record, which may do some good when applying for student visa in the future. At the same time, it may serve as an impetus for students to study harder. The short-term experience can also serve as a test showing if a student is able to live an independent life abroad or not.
短期的國(guó)際游學(xué)，可以幫助建立良好的簽證記錄，為將來(lái)順利獲得留學(xué)簽證奠定基礎(chǔ)；激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)主動(dòng)性，讓他們通過(guò)短期“游學(xué)”提前體驗(yàn)留學(xué)生活，以判斷自己是否適合出國(guó)獨(dú)立學(xué)習(xí)和生活。
