My comments:
“Live and let live” is the age-old idiom in question here. Literally, it means that you should LIVE your life and LET others LIVE theirs.
Many ways to interpret this, but generally speaking, this line of philosophy advocates mutual tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
To elaborate, life offers a wide variety of pleasures and opportunities, hence leading to vastly different lifestyles in different countries, societies and sometimes within the same cultures and communities.
Each person has his/her own reasons or ideologies for living their particular life they way they do. Hence, it is obvious that, in order to enjoy our life the way we want to, we should allow others to do the same, even though their lifestyles may appear totally bizarre to us.
Otherwise, quite frankly, there’d be no peace.
