國務院《關于深化考試招生制度改革的實施意見》3日正式出臺，立即引起廣泛關注。新高考將不分文理科，考生總成績由統(tǒng)一高考的語文、數(shù)學、外語3個科目成績和高中學業(yè)水平考試3個科目成績組成。計入總成績的高中學業(yè)水平考試科目，由考生根據(jù)報考高校要求和自身特長，在思想政治、歷史、地理、物理、化學、生物等科目中自主選擇。

In the future, students should learn all nine subjects and take tests before the gaokao, and they can choose any three elective subjects if their scores are satisfactory. Colleges will then admit students on the basis of the scores of the three subjects, as well as their test results in Chinese, math and English.
以后學生將學習全部9個科目并在高考前參加這些科目的考試，學生可選取分數(shù)最滿意的三個科目計入高考成績。大學招生將根據(jù)這三個科目的分數(shù)加上語文、數(shù)學和英語三科的分數(shù)。
新高考將實行“文理不分科”，英文表達是cancel the division of students into different tracks in high school?！拔目粕笨杀磉_為students on the liberal-arts track；“理科生”可表達為students following the science track。
高考總成績將實行“3+3”，由test results in Chinese, math and English（語文、數(shù)學、英語3科的成績）和考生自主選擇的3個高中學業(yè)水平考試科目成績組成。考生在高考前將參加全部9個文理科目的高中學業(yè)水平考試，然后從中選擇分數(shù)最滿意的3個科目計入高考成績。
