中國總理李克強(qiáng)和印度總理辛格23日在北京舉行會(huì)談，雙方共同見證了兩國邊防合作協(xié)議等9個(gè)文件的簽署。在會(huì)談后共同會(huì)見記者時(shí)，中印總理不約而同地提到，為了兩國25億人口的福祉，中印需要攜手合作，共謀發(fā)展。

China and India made a major step forward in their ties on Wednesday with an agreement on border defense cooperation and measures to promote regional economic integration.
中國和印度周三簽署了邊防合作協(xié)議和一系列促進(jìn)區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)一體化的協(xié)議，兩國關(guān)系向前邁出了重要一步。
Agreement on border defense cooperation就是“邊防合作協(xié)議”，文件的簽署有利于維護(hù)兩國邊境地區(qū)的和平與安寧（maintaining peace and tranquility of the border）。中印一致認(rèn)為，雙方共同利益遠(yuǎn)大于分歧(the two countries have more common interests than disagreements)，雙方有智慧、有能力管控和解決分歧，避免影響兩國關(guān)系整體發(fā)展。
另外，中印兩國將加強(qiáng)在基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)（infrastructure construction）方面的合作，推進(jìn)孟中緬印經(jīng)濟(jì)走廊（BCIM Economic Corridor, involving Bangladesh, China, India and Myanmar）建設(shè)，并且積極探討產(chǎn)業(yè)園區(qū)（industrial park）建設(shè)，逐步緩解兩國貿(mào)易不平衡狀況（trade imbalance），逐步實(shí)現(xiàn)貿(mào)易動(dòng)態(tài)平衡。
今年4月中旬，中印兩國曾發(fā)生持續(xù)三周的邊界對(duì)峙（border standoff）局面，雙方積極協(xié)商并最終結(jié)束對(duì)峙。
