 冒名頂替 identity theft

近日，山東單縣縣委決定對(duì)單縣一中教師劉民給予其開除黨籍處分，同時(shí)，單縣人事局對(duì)劉民給予行政降級(jí)處分。5月14日，北京市民鄒志靜透露，10年前她被人冒名上了大專，始作俑者正是她當(dāng)年的班主任劉民，此事被輿論比做“京版羅彩霞”事件。事件公開后，劉民已被當(dāng)?shù)鼐娇刂啤?/p>

A teacher who allegedly helped a relative get into university bystealing the identity of one of his students has been expelled from the Party and demoted, an official said.
有官員表示，一名通過盜用學(xué)生的身份幫助自己親戚上大學(xué)的老師已被開出黨籍并受到降級(jí)處分。
An investigation led by a county official and a Party discipline official has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the identity theft, which went undetected for almost 10 years.
由當(dāng)?shù)乜h政府和紀(jì)委官員帶領(lǐng)的調(diào)查組已經(jīng)著手調(diào)查這一隱藏近十年的 “冒名頂替”事件背后相關(guān)情況。
上面的報(bào)道中，steal identity和identity theft都是“盜用身份”或者“冒名頂替”的英文表達(dá)，只不過前者表示行為，而后者則指代這一罪名，那個(gè)“冒名頂替者”叫做imposter。這里的identity包含如ID card（身份證），driver’s license（駕照）等可以證明一個(gè)人身份的所有信息。
基本上，imposter（冒名頂替者）都得小心翼翼地行為做事，而且要sink one’s identity（隱瞞自己的歷史），一旦不小心看到了自己曾經(jīng)的歷史身份，還得堅(jiān)決地解釋說It’s a false/mistaken identity（這個(gè)人不是我）。
