 緊急部署“衛(wèi)生防疫”工作

大地震后，衛(wèi)生部指示，衛(wèi)生防疫人員要進(jìn)駐到每一個(gè)鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)、每一個(gè)村。衛(wèi)生防疫工作目前面臨的主要困難有生活及公共衛(wèi)生條件差、疾病監(jiān)控體系大面積受損、進(jìn)入受災(zāi)嚴(yán)重地區(qū)的渠道有限等問(wèn)題。目前工作已見(jiàn)成效，汶川災(zāi)區(qū)沒(méi)有重大傳染病疫情和突發(fā)公共衛(wèi)生事件報(bào)告。

Despite no major disease outbreaks so far in quake-hit regions, health and epidemic prevention efforts continue apace. Major challenges include poor living and public health conditions, largely destroyed disease monitoring and containment systems and limited access to some of the worst- hit areas.
雖然地震災(zāi)區(qū)還沒(méi)有爆發(fā)重大疾病，衛(wèi)生防疫工作還是在迅速進(jìn)行當(dāng)中。目前面臨的主要困難有生活及公共衛(wèi)生條件差、疾病監(jiān)控體系大面積受損、進(jìn)入受災(zāi)嚴(yán)重地區(qū)的渠道有限等問(wèn)題。
The Ministry of Health has been working intensively to implement a comprehensive epidemic surveillance and containment system in disaster areas right across Sichuan.
衛(wèi)生部正緊鑼密鼓地在四川災(zāi)區(qū)部署全面的疫情監(jiān)控體系。
上述報(bào)道中，epidemic prevention就是“防疫”，health and epidemic prevention是“衛(wèi)生防疫”；epidemic指的是a widespread outbreak of an infectious disease or many people are infected at the same time，即“流行病，傳染病”或者“疫情”。disease monitoring and containment system是“疾病監(jiān)控體系”，epidemic surveillance and containment system就是“疫情監(jiān)控體系”。
