“調(diào)薪”怎么說

麥當(dāng)勞（中國）公司要向員工“大派紅包”了！據(jù)悉，從9月1日起，在中國內(nèi)地815家麥當(dāng)勞餐廳供職的95%全職、兼職員工將全面上調(diào)工資。
請看外電相關(guān)報道：U.S. fast food giant McDonald's Corp said on Tuesday it would give its Chinese employees their first across-the-board pay rise.
McDonald's became embroiled in a public controversy in April, when Chinese newspapers reported it was paying some part-timers far below local minimums. "The wage issue partly helped us accelerate salary adjustments in China," McDonald's China spokesman George Gu said.
報道說，麥當(dāng)勞（中國）公司發(fā)言人George Gu承認，今年四月份麥當(dāng)勞違規(guī)用工事件是加速此次調(diào)薪的一個原因。
報道中的“salary adjustment”指的就是“調(diào)薪”?！癆djustment”可用來形容對價格、薪金方面的調(diào)整，如：to make minor adjustments in oil prices（對石油價格略做調(diào)整），to make an adjustment in sb’s salary（對某人的薪金做以調(diào)整）。
此外，員工們渴盼的“加薪”表述方式也相當(dāng)多，可以說成是pay rise，或是pay increase，或是pay raise，或者是pay boost等等。
