“蓋帽高手”怎么說

易建聯(lián)參加今年選秀大會已經不是新聞了，不過隨著他距離NBA的日子越來越近，外界對他的評論也隨之增多，其中不乏有關他是否具備在NBA中站穩(wěn)腳跟的能力，那么作為“先行者”的姚明又是如何看待這位中國籃球新星的呢？

在姚明看來，“易建聯(lián)的球風非常接近NBA球員斯塔德邁爾，個子高，手感好，運動能力強 …… 易建聯(lián)還是一位非常優(yōu)秀的四號位球員，甚至還可以客串五號位，有時他也會是一位出色的蓋帽高手……”
由報道可知，籃球術語“蓋帽高手”相應的英文表達是“good shot blocker”，“shot”在此指“投籃”。漢語中，進攻隊員投籃或上籃時，將球舉到最高點或球剛離手的一剎那，防守隊員立即跳起將球打落，稱為“蓋帽”。英語中，“to block shot”（直譯：攔截進球）較好的體現了“蓋帽”的含義。
日常運用中，“蓋帽”做名次時可用“block”來形容，做動詞時可用“to block shot”來表達?！吧w帽高手”則是“good shot blocker”。
看下面一個例句：In his fifth season, Yao is 11th in the league with 26.4 points per game, the best among centers.
