有調(diào)查顯示,國(guó)內(nèi)40%優(yōu)秀人才都流向了跨國(guó)公司,這不能不說是國(guó)內(nèi)研發(fā)機(jī)構(gòu)一大損失。不過,雖然跨國(guó)公司在華機(jī)構(gòu)“挖”了中國(guó)本土企業(yè)人才資源的“墻角”,但從長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)來講,這有利于減少中國(guó)人才流失海外。

報(bào)道中的“brain drain”指的是“人才因向有利的職業(yè)環(huán)境流動(dòng)而引起(欠發(fā)達(dá)地區(qū))的智囊枯竭”,即我們常說的“人才流失”。
“Brain”在此代指“高智商人才”,“drain”原意指“枯竭、干涸”,短語“brain drain”形象表達(dá)了本土人才外流后的尷尬處境。
與“brain drain”(人才外流)相對(duì)應(yīng)的是brain gain(人才引進(jìn))。此外,仿擬“brain drain”,“brown drain”常用來喻指“勞工外流”。
