 神奇鉛筆讓孩子集中注意力

A British design company have launched a new product to help children concentrate at school--pre-chewed pencils.
一家英國設(shè)計(jì)公司最近推出一款新產(chǎn)品，以幫助孩子們集中精力學(xué)習(xí)，它就是“被咬過的鉛筆”。
The company, called Concentrate, says the pencils look like they have already been chewed making pupils less likely to put them in their mouths.
這家名為Concentrate的公司稱，這些鉛筆看上去好像已經(jīng)被人咬過一般，從而可以減少小學(xué)生把筆放入嘴里的可能性。
And they say this is a cheap but effective way of encouraging youngsters to get their teeth into their lessons instead.
他們表示，這是一種便宜有效的辦法，能幫助青少年全心投入到功課中。
Concentrate specialises in products to help kids at school and identify why they get distracted or are unable to focus in class, claim the chewed end encourages them to get thinking straight away.
該公司專門設(shè)計(jì)制作各類兒童用品，幫助孩子們解決學(xué)習(xí)中的問題，并找出他們注意力分散或無法集中精力聽課的原因。據(jù)稱，被咬過的筆頭可以促使孩子們迅速進(jìn)入思考狀態(tài)。
"We know it's daft but who knows what might happen," said company boss Mark Champkins.
“我們知道這只是個(gè)初級(jí)產(chǎn)品，但是誰知道最終會(huì)變成什么樣呢？”公司負(fù)責(zé)人馬克錢普金斯說。
"We began to look at the reasons that children might be distracted, uncomfortable or unable to focus in lessons--and we set about designing some simple, cost-effective products to address some of the problems."
