慶祝中國人民解放軍建軍90周年大會(huì)8月1日上午10時(shí)在人民大會(huì)堂舉行。中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平出席大會(huì)并發(fā)表重要講話。

習(xí)近平主席在講話中高度贊揚(yáng)了革命戰(zhàn)士不怕苦、不怕犧牲的精神，還專門介紹了革命戰(zhàn)士們的“三個(gè)不相信”的英雄宣言（heroic declaration of "three don't believes"）：

在革命戰(zhàn)士面前，不相信有完不成的任務(wù)，不相信有克服不了的困難，不相信有戰(zhàn)勝不了的敵人！
Revolutionary soldiers don't believe in missions that couldn't be completed, they don't believe in difficulty that couldn't be overcome, and they also don't believe in enemies that couldn't be conquered.

習(xí)近平主席講到下面這句話的時(shí)候，全場(chǎng)立即爆發(fā)長(zhǎng)時(shí)間掌聲。

“我們絕不允許任何人、任何組織、任何政黨、在任何時(shí)候、以任何形式、把任何一塊中國領(lǐng)土從中國分裂出去，誰都不要指望我們會(huì)吞下?lián)p害我國主權(quán)、安全、發(fā)展利益的苦果。”
We will never allow anyone, any organization or any political party to split any part of Chinese territory out of the country at any time, in any form. No one should expect us to swallow the pains of compromising our national sovereignty, security and development interest.

習(xí)近平主席首先在講話中回顧了90年前，南昌城頭一聲槍響，拉開了我們黨武裝反抗國民黨反動(dòng)派的大幕。

1927年8月1日，南昌城頭一聲槍響，拉開了我們黨武裝反抗國民黨反動(dòng)派的大幕。這是中國共產(chǎn)黨歷史上的一個(gè)偉大事件，是中國革命史上的一個(gè)偉大事件，也是中華民族發(fā)展史上的一個(gè)偉大事件。
On August 1, 1927, a gunshot in Nanchang marked our resistance against the Kuomintang reactionaries. This is a great event in the history of the CPC, of China's revolution, as well as of development of the Chinese nation.

自那時(shí)起，中國共產(chǎn)黨領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下的人民軍隊(duì)，就英勇投身為中國人民求解放、求幸福，為中華民族謀獨(dú)立、謀復(fù)興的歷史洪流，同中國人民和中華民族的命運(yùn)緊緊連在了一起。

90年來，人民軍隊(duì)歷經(jīng)硝煙戰(zhàn)火，一路披荊斬棘，付出巨大犧牲，取得一個(gè)又一個(gè)輝煌勝利，為黨和人民建立了偉大的歷史功勛。
For 90 years, the people's army has gone through wars and difficult times, making great sacrifices in exchange for more and more glorious victories, helping the CPC and people achieve great historical merit.

以鮮血和生命為建立人民當(dāng)家作主的新中國奠定了牢固根基，徹底扭轉(zhuǎn)了中華民族近代以來落后挨打的被動(dòng)局面。
The people's army used their lives to set a solid foundation for the new China where people became their own masters. The people's army also reversed the Chinese nation’s backwardness in the modern history, which made it vulnerable to foreign invasions.

為鞏固新生人民政權(quán)、形成中國大國地位、維護(hù)中華民族尊嚴(yán)提供了堅(jiān)強(qiáng)后盾。
Their victory was also a strong support to the new people’s regime, China’s status as a big country and Chinese nation’s dignity.

為維護(hù)國家主權(quán)、安全、發(fā)展利益，為維護(hù)我國發(fā)展的重要戰(zhàn)略機(jī)遇期，為維護(hù)地區(qū)和世界和平提供了強(qiáng)大力量支撐。
Their dedication serves as a strong support to the CPC leadership and our socialist system, to the defense of the national sovereignty, security and interests, to our national development in an important period of strategic opportunities, as well as to regional and world peace.

人民軍隊(duì)一路走來，緊跟黨和人民事業(yè)發(fā)展步伐，在戰(zhàn)斗中成長(zhǎng)，在繼承中創(chuàng)新，在建設(shè)中發(fā)展，革命化現(xiàn)代化正規(guī)化水平不斷提高，威懾和實(shí)戰(zhàn)能力不斷增強(qiáng)。

人民軍隊(duì)已經(jīng)由過去單一軍種的軍隊(duì)發(fā)展成為諸軍兵種聯(lián)合的強(qiáng)大軍隊(duì)，由過去“小米加步槍”武裝起來的軍隊(duì)發(fā)展成為基本實(shí)現(xiàn)機(jī)械化、加快邁向信息化的強(qiáng)大軍隊(duì)。
The people's army has grown from a single-service force into a force with multiple branches, and has transformed from a "millet plus rifles" force to one that has basically completed mechanization and is moving rapidly toward a strong informationized armed force.

90年來，在長(zhǎng)期實(shí)踐中，人民軍隊(duì)在黨的旗幟下前進(jìn)，形成了一整套建軍治軍原則，發(fā)展了人民戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)的戰(zhàn)略戰(zhàn)術(shù)，培育了特有的光榮傳統(tǒng)和優(yōu)良作風(fēng)。這是人民軍隊(duì)從勝利走向勝利的傳家法寶，是人民軍隊(duì)必須永志不忘的紅色血脈。
The People’s Liberation Army has been moving forward under the banner of the Communist Party of China during a series of practices over the past nine decades. The army has formed its own principles of army building and governance, developed strategies and tactics for people’s war, and cultivated specific fine tradition and exemplary conduct. The people’s army should forever bear those cherished heritages in mind as they have helped them win a succession of victories.

From our history, we can see that revolutionary aspiration is the most noble one above all. The key factor helping the people’s army gather ground, overcome all those difficulties, and defeat all those fights is its mind armed with Marxism theories, its noble aspiration and faith as well as determination, and dedication to pursue them.

The succession of victories the people's army has won has also demonstrated the great power of fighting spirit. The army's courageous and upright characteristics have been vividly portrayed by their courage to fight for victory or having no fear for suffering and death.

歷史告訴我們，戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)不僅是物質(zhì)的較量，更是精神的比拼。沒有頑強(qiáng)的意志，沒有敢于犧牲的品質(zhì)，再好的武器裝備也不能保證勝利。
From the history, we can see that war is not only a contest in terms of material, but also one concerning spirit. Victory can never be guaranteed without a strong will, and the spirit of fearing no sacrifice, no matter how superior the weapons and military equipment are.

歷史告訴我們，加強(qiáng)紀(jì)律性，革命無不勝。一支軍隊(duì)的力量，不僅要看其人數(shù)，不僅要看其武器裝備，還要看其紀(jì)律性。一支沒有紀(jì)律的軍隊(duì)，只能是烏合之眾。
From the history, we can see that the army will win all battle in revolution as long as the discipline is strengthened. The power of an army should not be judged by only its scale, weapons and equipment, but also its discipline. An army without discipline is nothing but a disorderly mob.

人民軍隊(duì)從勝利走向勝利，彰顯了軍民團(tuán)結(jié)的偉大力量。
The succession of victories the people's army has won shows the great strengthen of the army and people.

歷史告訴我們，有了民心所向、民意所歸、民力所聚，人民軍隊(duì)就能無往而不勝、無敵于天下。
History tells us that our troops will conquer all as long as they are supported by the people.

人民軍隊(duì)的歷史輝煌，是鮮血生命鑄就的，永遠(yuǎn)值得我們銘記。人民軍隊(duì)的歷史經(jīng)驗(yàn)，是艱辛探索得來的，永遠(yuǎn)需要我們弘揚(yáng)。人民軍隊(duì)的歷史發(fā)展，是忠誠擔(dān)當(dāng)推動(dòng)的，永遠(yuǎn)激勵(lì)我們向前。
The brilliance of the people's army was built by blood, which will always be on our mind. The historical experience of the PLA is gained through hardships and should be carried forward by all of us. Loyalty pushed the army forward before and will always keep us moving forward.

回顧完歷史，習(xí)近平主席總結(jié)了黨的十八大以來，人民軍隊(duì)在反腐敗、國防和軍隊(duì)改革以及從嚴(yán)治軍方面取得的一系列成就。

經(jīng)過5年努力，人民軍隊(duì)實(shí)現(xiàn)了政治生態(tài)重塑、組織形態(tài)重塑、力量體系重塑、作風(fēng)形象重塑，人民軍隊(duì)重整行裝再出發(fā)，在中國特色強(qiáng)軍之路上邁出了堅(jiān)實(shí)步伐。
Through five years hard work and efforts, the PLA realized the restructuring of the political ecosystem, organization, strength and style. The army starts all over again, with brand new appearance and move steadfastly toward a stronger army.

同時(shí)指出：

站在新的歷史起點(diǎn)上，我們更加深切地感受到，中華民族走出苦難、中國人民實(shí)現(xiàn)解放，有賴于一支英雄的人民軍隊(duì)；中華民族實(shí)現(xiàn)偉大復(fù)興，中國人民實(shí)現(xiàn)更加美好生活，必須加快把人民軍隊(duì)建設(shè)成為世界一流軍隊(duì)。我們要不忘初心、繼續(xù)前進(jìn)，堅(jiān)定不移走中國特色強(qiáng)軍之路，把強(qiáng)軍事業(yè)不斷推向前進(jìn)。
Standing on the new historical point, we feel stronger the importance of the heroic army to lead people out of pain and liberate people. We should build out a world-class army to help rejuvenate the Chinese nation and make people's lives better. We should remember where we started in the first place, keep moving forward, stick to strong armed force with Chinese characteristics, and push the army career to higher levels.

推進(jìn)強(qiáng)軍事業(yè)，必須毫不動(dòng)搖堅(jiān)持黨對(duì)軍隊(duì)的絕對(duì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，確保人民軍隊(duì)永遠(yuǎn)跟黨走。
In order to build a strong armed force, we must stick to the principle that the Party maintains absolute leadership over the army and make sure the armed forces always follow the Party.

推進(jìn)強(qiáng)軍事業(yè)，必須堅(jiān)持和發(fā)展黨的軍事指導(dǎo)理論，不斷開拓馬克思主義軍事理論和當(dāng)代中國軍事實(shí)踐發(fā)展新境界。
In order to realize strong armed force, we must stick to and develop the Party's military guide theory, improving the military theory of Marxism and the development of modern military practices in China.

In order to advance the course of strong armed force, we must focus on combat readiness, and build up a strong military force that can fight and win in battles and wars.

To strengthen the army, we must uphold the right political wills, deepen military reforms, revive the army with technology, govern the army according to law, and raise the level of national security, and modernize the army in all aspects.
