Top Tips to Help you Pack for your Ski Holiday

無論是周末去周邊滑雪還是長(zhǎng)假去遠(yuǎn)途滑雪勝地，出門前你都需要準(zhǔn)備好一些必需品。行李箱里到底要裝哪些東西？既然去滑雪，是不是就要帶很多很厚的衣服呢？裝備怎么辦？以下幾點(diǎn)小貼士可能會(huì)幫到你。

1. Layer up 一層一層把自己裹起來

Although it can be tempting to purchase the biggest, thickest items of clothing for a ski holiday, the best way to maintain heat is by layering lots of thin layers. When you place lots of thin layers on top of each other the heat is trapped between each layer and this keeps you warmer than one large thick layer of clothing. Although you'll still need top layer waterproofs, you should try and keep everything underneath thin and fitted. It is also easier to adjust your temperature because you can remove a few layers rather than taking off one thick layer and becoming cold quickly.
一想到要去滑雪，很多人都想要買最厚實(shí)的衣服，不過，最佳保暖方式其實(shí)是用很多層薄衣服把自己裹起來。把衣服一層一層穿在身上的時(shí)候，熱量會(huì)被保留在每一層衣服之間，這比只穿一件很厚的衣服更保暖。最外面一層當(dāng)然要穿防水的衣服，但穿在里面的衣服最好不要太厚，要合身。這樣穿也更便于隨時(shí)調(diào)節(jié)身體溫度，太熱就把里面的衣服脫掉幾件。而如果你只穿了一件很厚的衣服，脫掉以后，身體立馬就會(huì)冷下來了。

2. Go for Quality or Hire 買還是租？

If you're stuck between purchasing cheap ski-wear or hiring your top layer clothing you should most definitely hire. Cheap ski-wear is not effective and will not have the durability you need for long periods of time on the slopes. Hiring could also be a cheaper alternative as package holidays often include equipment hire in the price. If you can afford to invest in high quality ski-wear before you go you can feel reassured it will last the holiday and many future holidays to come.
如果你在購買廉價(jià)的滑雪服和租一套高級(jí)滑雪服之間猶豫不決的話，建議你最好租一套。便宜的滑雪服性能會(huì)打折扣，而且可能也經(jīng)不起你長(zhǎng)時(shí)間在雪道上的折騰。租一套反而可能是個(gè)更加經(jīng)濟(jì)的選擇，因?yàn)楹芏嗷┒燃倬频晏撞屠锩姹旧砭桶俗夥b的價(jià)格。當(dāng)然了，如果你有錢購置一套高級(jí)滑雪服的話，那就安心購買吧，以后滑雪度假的時(shí)候都能穿。

3. Check for Safety and Fit 裝備安全檢查

If you're taking your own equipment you should make sure it still fits before you leave. You do not want to get to the resort and find your boots or helmet are too small as you will have wasted luggage allowance and have to use your holiday spending money to hire or buy equipment when you're at the resort. You should also check all equipment is still safe, you should check if the equipment is worn beyond repair, cracked or damaged and still connects to any relating equipment properly.
如果是帶自己的裝備去滑雪，那么出發(fā)前一定要確保裝備都是正常可用的。你也不想到了滑雪場(chǎng)才發(fā)現(xiàn)靴子穿不上，頭盔也戴不了，然后又得現(xiàn)場(chǎng)花錢花時(shí)間購置或租裝備。一定要檢查所有滑雪裝備都安全可用，看看裝備有沒有裂痕、或者損壞，還能不能修好，看所有裝備是否都能正常配套使用。

yard sale：滑雪時(shí)摔了一跤，雪板、眼鏡、頭盔之類等物品散落一地的場(chǎng)景。

face plant：滑雪時(shí)摔了，而且是臉先著雪地。

fakie：在雪地里倒滑。

manky：穿著聚酯纖維的內(nèi)衣經(jīng)過一天的滑雪運(yùn)動(dòng)后，身上散發(fā)出來的味道?？隙ê寐劜涣?。
