Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao has met with a group of war-displaced Japanese orphans who were raised by Chinese families after the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
中國(guó)國(guó)家副主席李源潮會(huì)見(jiàn)了在日本侵華戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)后由中國(guó)人撫養(yǎng)長(zhǎng)大的日本遺孤代表團(tuán)。

日本遺孤（遺華日僑），是指1945年日本戰(zhàn)敗投降后，日本侵略者撤退和遣返期間，遺棄在中國(guó)并被中國(guó)人撫養(yǎng)長(zhǎng)大的日本孤兒，常用Japanese orphan/ Japanese "left-behind orphan"/Japanese war orphan表示。

李源潮說(shuō)，中日近代以來(lái)經(jīng)歷了日本軍國(guó)主義（Japanese militarism）侵華的歷史悲劇，戰(zhàn)后中國(guó)人民把數(shù)以千計(jì)的日本遺孤?lián)狃B(yǎng)成人，展現(xiàn)了博大胸懷，日本遺孤也積極促進(jìn)兩國(guó)友好（work actively to promote friendship between the two countries）。今年是中國(guó)人民抗日戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)（Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression）暨勝利70周年，中方愿在中日四個(gè)政治文件基礎(chǔ)上，本著以史為鑒、面向未來(lái)精神（in the spirit of taking history as a mirror and facing up to the future），推動(dòng)中日關(guān)系改善發(fā)展。

日本遺孤表示，日本是祖國(guó)，中國(guó)是故鄉(xiāng)（Japan is the motherland, but China is the hometown.）。衷心希望日中世代友好，愿終身為此努力。
