5月2日，哈爾濱鐵警在黑龍江慶安火車站開槍擊斃醉酒鬧事人員徐純合，該事件通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)迅速發(fā)酵，關(guān)于當(dāng)?shù)毓賵龅呐e報帖集中爆發(fā)。

The incident raised wide public concern, and during the investigation there was a chain of tip-offs about the illegal practices of local officials.

不能否認(rèn)，徐純合事件客觀上推動了對當(dāng)?shù)毓賳T的反腐調(diào)查進程（accelerated the anti-corruption campaign）。它將公眾注意力引到了慶安這個縣城，輿論聚光燈照射之下，當(dāng)?shù)毓賵龅囊慌e一動自然備受關(guān)注（under scrutinizing eyes）。

但針對慶安官員的舉報一起接一起，卻也表明當(dāng)?shù)亻L年積累下來的問題之多，也說明了當(dāng)?shù)貙θ罕娕e報（public tip-offs）、信訪（petitioning）的處理仍存在弊端。
