Chinese third-party payment companies are said to have obtained licenses for the first cross-border settlement pilot programs, a news report said on Wednesday. |
Under the pilot programs, online payment service providers can act as agents to help handle cross-border currency settlements for Chinese shoppers placing orders on overseas websites as well as for those overseas shoppers making purchases on Chinese websites.
參與試點的在線支付服務(wù)提供商可以代理的身份幫助在海外網(wǎng)站上購物的中國消費者完成跨境貨幣支付，同時也可以幫助在中國網(wǎng)站購物的海外消費者完成交易。
第三方支付平臺（the third-party payment platforms）為網(wǎng)購一族（online shoppers）提供了巨大的便利?，F(xiàn)在，隨著跨境支付（cross-border settlements）試點的展開，境內(nèi)消費者在網(wǎng)上“海淘”就更方便了。也就是說，消費者以后在國外購物網(wǎng)站買東西也可以直接用支付寶等平臺直接用人民幣支付了。
外匯局規(guī)定，試點支付機構(gòu)為客戶集中辦理收付匯（foreign currency payments and receipts）和結(jié)售匯（foreign exchange trading）業(yè)務(wù)，貨物貿(mào)易單筆交易金額不得超過等值1萬美元，留學(xué)教育、航空機票和酒店項下單筆交易金額不得超過等值5萬美元。
17家獲得資格的公司獲得的業(yè)務(wù)資格有所側(cè)重，分別涉及跨境電子商務(wù)外匯支付業(yè)務(wù)（cross-border e-commerce settlements）、貨物貿(mào)易（cross-border trade business）、留學(xué)教育（cross-border education）、航空機票（cross-border air tickets）以及酒店住宿（cross-border hotel booking）。
