A luxury resort on the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba is offering amorous couples a discount of around ￡180 on a future booking – if they conceive a child during their holiday.
Management at the Westin Resort (www.westinaruba.com), located in Palm Beach on the island’s northern coastline, have devised the scheme in an effort to attract would-be mothers and fathers.
Couples will be rewarded with a $300 ‘Conception Credit’ if they can prove that their baby was conceived while they were staying at the hotel.
A doctor’s note confirming that the likely conception date coincided with the couple’s stay will be accepted as evidence, according to a spokesperson for the resort.
The offer is open to any guests staying at the hotel before December 18, 2009.
Rooms at the Westin Resort start at around $200 (￡120) a night, so couples can claim at least one nights’ complimentary accommodation should they succeed in taking up the offer.
Last month, the budget hotel company Premier Inn launched another promotion aimed at happy couples – the ￡58 honeymoon.
The offer includes a bottle of Asda sparkling wine, a hamper of Boots spa treatments, a punnet of strawberries or a box of chocolates and his and hers nightwear by Primark.

2009年12月18日之前入住該酒店的客人們都有機會享受此項優(yōu)惠。
威斯汀假日酒店的房價最低為每晚200美元（合120英鎊），所以如果夫婦們能得到此項優(yōu)惠，那么至少能免費在此住宿一晚。
上月，經(jīng)濟型酒店“總理客?！币舶l(fā)起了一項面向恩愛夫妻們的“度蜜月，送58英鎊”的促銷活動。
這項優(yōu)惠促銷活動所提供的度蜜月的物品包括：一瓶艾斯達起泡葡萄酒，一籃柏姿身體舒緩護理套裝，一扁籃草莓或一盒巧克力和普里馬克牌男女睡衣各一套。
