據(jù)說(shuō),現(xiàn)在很流行反常運(yùn)動(dòng)法,如倒立、倒走甚至是在地上爬行。有報(bào)道認(rèn)為,這種“一切倒著來(lái)”開(kāi)拓了全新的健身理念,有助于緩解壓力、防記憶衰退并增強(qiáng)血液循環(huán)。

In ancient times, handstands were a good way for monks to build up their bodies and stay strong and healthy. Now people know there are even more benefits to the handstand, it decreases stress, keeps the mind clear and increases blood circulation.
報(bào)道中的“handstand”是倒立的一種——手倒立。與“headstand”(頭倒立)相比,“handstand”更側(cè)重用手來(lái)保持倒立時(shí)身體的平衡。就“手倒立”而言,若想要強(qiáng)調(diào)“單臂倒立(見(jiàn)圖)”,可用“one arm handstand”來(lái)表達(dá)。
值得一提的是,日常生活中,某人若不小心摔了個(gè)“倒栽蔥”,則可形容為“to fall headlong”,Headlong指“頭向前地,先著地地”如:He staggered and fell headlong.(他一個(gè)趔趄,摔了個(gè)倒栽蔥。)
