美國耐克公司最新的籃球鞋電視廣告“恐懼斗室”在亞洲市場播出后引起了中國人的普遍不滿,遭到了被國家廣電總局禁播的命運(yùn)。12月7日,耐克公開向中國消費(fèi)者道歉,通過其在中國的公關(guān)代理給北京、上海、廣州的主要報(bào)紙和網(wǎng)絡(luò)媒體發(fā)出致歉聲明,新華社報(bào)道如下:Nike, the multinational athletic shoe and sportswear giant, issued an apology to Chinese customers Friday, not long after China banned its new television commercial "Chamber of Fear" for insulting Chinese national dignity.
"Nike Inc. is sorry for concerns and worries aroused among Chinese customers after the commercial was aired, and we by no means disrespect Chinese culture," it said in a statement sent to major Chinese newspapers and web media based in Beijing, Shanghai,and Guangzhou through its public relations agent in China, the Shanghai-based @PR Consulting Ltd..
Sportswear表示“運(yùn)動裝,為休閑活動設(shè)計(jì)的衣服”,和sport相關(guān)的詞組還有sports jacket (便裝);sportsdom([英]體育界);sports-down([美]運(yùn)動界)sportsman(運(yùn)動家,冒險(xiǎn)家)等。
據(jù)悉,這則引起爭議的廣告以NBA明星勒布朗·詹姆斯為主角,他一路打敗了長袍老道、身穿中國服裝的婦女、飛天龍等三個(gè)中國形象的代表。廣告播出后不少中國觀眾和海外華人都認(rèn)為該創(chuàng)意有侮辱中國民族象征的嫌疑。
