Xi Jinping Thought on Socialist Economy with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era has taken shape, according to a statement released after the Central Economic Work Conference concluded on Wednesday.
20日閉幕的中央經(jīng)濟(jì)工作會(huì)議指出，習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國特色社會(huì)主義經(jīng)濟(jì)思想已經(jīng)形成。

The thought is the "theoretical crystallization" of the past five years of practice in pushing forward China's economic development, the "latest fruit" of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics, and the "extremely precious spiritual wealth" of the CPC and the country. It must be adhered to for a long time and developed continuously.
會(huì)議指出，習(xí)近平新時(shí)代中國特色社會(huì)主義經(jīng)濟(jì)思想，是5年來推動(dòng)我國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展實(shí)踐的理論結(jié)晶，是中國特色社會(huì)主義政治經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)的最新成果，是黨和國家十分寶貴的精神財(cái)富，必須長期堅(jiān)持、不斷豐富發(fā)展。

中國特色社會(huì)主義進(jìn)入新時(shí)代，我國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展也進(jìn)入新時(shí)代。2018年是貫徹黨的十九大精神的開局之年，是改革開放40周年，是決勝全面建成小康社會(huì)、實(shí)施“十三五”規(guī)劃承上啟下的關(guān)鍵一年。

如何繪就經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展新時(shí)代的美好藍(lán)圖？這次中央經(jīng)濟(jì)工作會(huì)議傳遞出這些信號(hào)。

推動(dòng)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展

會(huì)議認(rèn)為，中國特色社會(huì)主義進(jìn)入了新時(shí)代，我國經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展也進(jìn)入了新時(shí)代，基本特征就是我國經(jīng)濟(jì)已由高速增長階段（a phase of rapid growth）轉(zhuǎn)向高質(zhì)量發(fā)展階段（a stage of high-quality development）。

推動(dòng)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展是當(dāng)前和今后一個(gè)時(shí)期確定發(fā)展思路、制定經(jīng)濟(jì)政策、實(shí)施宏觀調(diào)控的根本要求。
High-quality development is the fundamental requirement for determining the development path, making economic policies, and conducting macroeconomic regulation at present and in the period to come.
