Robin Li: The era of mobile internet has ended and AI is the new opportunity

Robin Li, chairman and CEO of Baidu Inc, delivered a speech at the plenary session of the third WIC Wednesday, saying it is no longer possible for a unicorn to appear in mobile internet market.
百度董事長(zhǎng)兼CEO李彥宏16日在第三屆世界互聯(lián)網(wǎng)大會(huì)全體會(huì)議上表示，靠移動(dòng)互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的風(fēng)口已經(jīng)沒(méi)有可能再出現(xiàn)獨(dú)角獸了。

"As the penetration rate of internet has exceeded 50 percent, the market's development has entered a relative stable stage," Li said.
李彥宏稱，“市場(chǎng)已經(jīng)進(jìn)入了一個(gè)相對(duì)平穩(wěn)的發(fā)展階段，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)人口滲透率已經(jīng)超過(guò)了50%?！?/p>

Li, mentioning artificial intelligence (AI)'s application in Baidu's driverless vehicle, internet of things, and automatic translation service, said he is excited every time when he thinks about the possibilities that AI may bring to everyone, every industry and every country.
李彥宏提到了人工智能在百度無(wú)人車、物聯(lián)網(wǎng)以及自動(dòng)翻譯服務(wù)等方面的應(yīng)用。他說(shuō)每當(dāng)想到人工智能給每一個(gè)人、每一個(gè)行業(yè)、每一個(gè)國(guó)家?guī)?lái)的可能性時(shí)，都覺(jué)得非常興奮。

"The era of AI will bring great changes, which means we need to re-imagine everything, every industry and every market," he said.
