The snap, which sees Eric with his thumb up, has been retweeted 9,309 times and has over 11,000 likes. After the tweet was published, others took to the site in their droves to salute Eric's efforts.

About 450,000 condoms will be distributed during the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, three times more than for the London Games four years ago, the International Olympic Committee said.
