新年到來(lái)的時(shí)候，大家都會(huì)總結(jié)上一年，為新一年許下美好愿望，制定宏偉計(jì)劃，英語(yǔ)中叫做New Year’s Resolution。不過(guò)，我們也知道，計(jì)劃沒有變化快。做了很多新年計(jì)劃，但沒有實(shí)施的情況并不少見。

A resolutionist is a person who joins the gym in early January because of their New Year’s Resolution but doesn’t follow through with it afterwards. Resolutionists can be spotted by their pasty white skin, excessive fat, poor form, and blank look on their face as they stand next to any piece of gym equipment. Resolutionists usually migrate back to the couch any time from mid-January to early March.

Resolutionist指元旦過(guò)后為了執(zhí)行新年計(jì)劃而去健身房鍛煉但后來(lái)沒怎么堅(jiān)持的那些人，我們稱之為“新年計(jì)劃族”。在健身房，新年計(jì)劃族的特征很容易辨認(rèn)：蒼白的皮膚、贅肉、身材走樣，還有站在健身器材旁時(shí)空洞的眼神。他們通常會(huì)在1月中旬或者3月初的時(shí)候就轉(zhuǎn)移到自家沙發(fā)上了。
